The Local Fry, known for its eclectic selection of fries with a variety of toppings, has opened its newest location in the mixed-use Rotunda development on 40th Street. Owned and operated by husband and wife team Kevin and Elizabeth Irish, the eatery offers many dishes inspired by the couple’s different cultures and travels around the world. Enjoy fries topped with unique meats, sauces, and fresh vegetables, such as the Hawaiian Fries smothered in barbecue pork, barbecue sauce, kewpie mayo, pineapple salsa, bacon, and scallions. The eatery also serves up banh mi sandwiches, rice bowls, and wings.

The 1,200 square foot space has a bright, airy dining area with oversized windows and a variety of seating at tables, high tops with stools, and benches along the wall. The eatery seats about 15 to 20 people and also offers carry out options. Visit The Local Fry on Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
