When Anjali, the owner of Baltimore Yoga Village, first opened her studio in 2007, she wanted to create a true community-oriented village where people could meet and support each other. More than 11 years later, this is precisely how clients describe this yoga studio.
This is a place that welcomes yogis of all levels of experience. In addition, classes are available that address specific circumstances, like therapeutic yoga for those who are recovering from injury; yoga for anxiety and depression; and prenatal yoga. Despite its name, Baltimore Yoga Village offers more than just yoga. Thanks to a partnership with Metta Integrative Wellness Center, you can also receive massage, acupuncture, reiki, aroma therapy and more. A unique aspect of this studio is its commitment to making yoga accessible to all — it offers a $6 class every day to members of the community.
