Looking for something fun to do on the cheap? Baltimore has plenty of fun activities and sights that will fit your budget, no matter how small!
Outdoor Concert Series
Come to the Baltimore Waterfront for free live music the first Friday of the month at Harbor Point and the second Friday and West Shore Park. Check out some local bands and enjoy the food trucks, lawn games, bar service, and more.
Achieve your fitness goals without having to buy a gym membership at Waterfront Wellness at West Shore Park. Whether you want something relaxing like yoga, or more intense like HIIT, there are plenty of options every Saturday through Tuesday.
Paddle and rally at the Fourth Annual Baltimore Floatilla at Canton Waterfront Park! Come out June 8th from 8:00am-12:00pm to watch some paddling and support the environment. Money raised by participants will go towards environmental causes, such as field trips for students, and efforts to keep the water clean and free of trash.
Sit back, relax, and enjoy the free show at the Waterfront’s movie nights. Movie nights will be taking place Saturday, July 20 at Pierce’s Park and on Saturday, September 7 at West Shore Park.
Pints in the Park
Come to Center Plaza, located right off the Purple Circulator route at N. Charles & Fayette Street for Pints in the Park! Taking place on the second Friday of every month from 5-8pm, end your week right with some drinks, live music, cornhole, ping pong, and more.
Who doesn’t love free giveaways? Head on down the block to Camden Yards and be one of the first 20,000-30,000 fans to arrive. You can win Hawaiian shirts, retro apparel, drinkware, and plenty of other fun things. These giveaways will be taking place at the upcoming home games this summer, and dates for specific giveaways can be found on the Orioles’ website.
If art is your thing, there are plenty of museums in the surrounding area to spend your day for free. Only about ten minutes away is the Walters Art Museum, open Wednesday through Sunday. With a wide variety of exhibits, there is a work of art to appeal to every eye. There is also the Baltimore Museum of Art, at Charles and 31st Street.
For some good food, museums and monuments, and a lovely view of the city, check out Baltimore’s Inner Harbor! About half a mile from Zenith, the Inner Harbor is a great place to spend your day with plenty to do, while keeping within your budget.
