Apple Picking

A family tradition since 1904, Baugher’s in Westminster has long been a Maryland fall staple. Make a trip to visit the lovely orchard and bakery, and to try some of their homemade cider and honey. U-Pick apples at the orchard is Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00am-5:00pm.
Weber’s Cider Mill Farm
Weber’s Cider Mill Farm in Parkville has plenty to offer this fall! Their barnyard opens on September 23rd, with the 44th Annual Johnny Appleseed Festival on the 21st and 22nd to kick off the season. Activities, besides apple picking, included in general admission include farm animals, hayrides, straw mazes, and more.

Corn Maze
The Maryland Corn Maze in Gambrills was mentioned in “the 25 best corn mazes across the country to visit this fall” and is a great way to have fun with your friends! This year, the maze design was inspired by Harry Potter, and those who complete it are entered to win prizes each evening. It may be challenging, but it’s definitely rewarding.

With their incredible natural beauty, sunflower fields are the perfect place to take pictures and relax for a day. Clear Meadow Farm in Jarrettsville has been known for their sunflower field for years, and flowers are expected to be in full bloom until the end of October.
