Ho, Ho, Ho! The holiday season is here and there are plenty of ways to get into the holiday spirit in Baltimore! Whether you’re looking for a fun bar crawl, a relaxing walk through a Christmas village, or a place to spend New Year’s Eve, there is something for everyone to enjoy this season.
First an foremost, be sure to attend The Zenith’s holiday on Friday, December 13 from 6-9pm in the Lobby. We’ll be serving up delicious food from Alexander’s Tavern and finishing the evening with decadent desserts from Flour and Fork.
Annual DK Christmas Palooza
From opening to closing on Saturday, December 14th is the Annual DK Christmas Palooza at Don’t Know Tavern in nearby Federal Hill. The Palooza will have festivities all day long, from 10am-2am, including an Ugly Sweater Brunch, and live music.
Christmas Village in Baltimore
The Christmas Village at West Shore Park is a must-see this holiday season! With a different theme every weekend and activities throughout the week such as beer and wine tasting, live performances, and shopping in the indoor and outdoor market, there is always something fun to do here. The Christmas Village will be up and running until Christmas Eve.
Ugly Sweater Parties and Bar Crawls
Bar crawls and ugly sweater parties are two of the best ways to get into the holiday spirit! There are plenty of opportunities to get in on the fun this month in Baltimore.
12 Bars of Christmas Crawl Baltimore
The 12 Bars of Christmas Crawl hosted by Power Plant Live! will be coming to Baltimore on December 14th from 12-8pm. This holiday tradition is a great way to get into the holiday spirit with your friends and family. Included in your ticket are a free drink, no cover charges, a free Santa cup and more.
Mistletoe Mayhem- Ugly Sweater Party
Power Plant Live! will be hosting the ultimate ugly sweater party on December 20th from 8pm-2am. There will be numerous participating bars with plenty of activities, including silent disco, karaoke, live music, and of course prizes for the ugliest sweater.
Brooks Ugly Sweater Fun Run from Diamondback Brewery
Get ready to run! The Brooks Ugly Sweater Fun Run is back and will be held on December 12th at 6:30pm. Prizes will be awarded for the ugliest sweaters, and there will be beer and pizza after the run.
Snow Day Bar Crawl- Baltimore
Adults can have snow days too! Celebrate the first day of winter with the Snow Day Bar Crawl on December 21st from 3-10pm. Participating in the crawl will give you access to discounted food and drink specials, no covers, and souvenirs.
Ugly Sweater Contest at Mount Vernon Marketplace
Ugly sweaters have become a Christmas staple, so they have to be celebrated this season. Break out your ugliest sweater for the Ugly Sweater Contest at Mount Vernon Marketplace, taking place December 20th from 7-11pm. There will be karaoke, as well as prizes for the top three sweaters, so the uglier the better!
Other Holiday Activities
A Winter Wonderland at the Choptank
Stop by the Choptank’s Winter Wonderland on December 15th from 11am-4pm. The Choptank will be hosting the Fells Point Winter Cocktail Competition, and will also have photos with Santa. Marines will be collecting donations for Toys for Tots as well, so don’t forget to bring a new, unwrapped toy.
Bike Party: December Ride
Baltimore Bike Party is back for this December! As always, the ride will take place on the last Friday of the month and an after party will follow, so get ready to ride on December 27th at 6:30pm. The ride will begin at St. Mary’s Park with the theme and endpoint to be announced.
Cross Street Holiday Market
Get your gift shopping done locally at the Cross Street Holiday Market on December 14th. With over 40 local vendors, you will be able to find the perfect holiday gift for everyone on your list!
National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation at The Senator
Thirty years after its release, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation is back in the theatre! On December 18th at 7:30pm, you will have the chance to relive the movie’s magic on the big screen at The Senator Theatre.
Hampden Lights/Miracle on 34th Street
The annual Hampden Lights show is really a Miracle on 34th Street! Take a walk through this winter wonderland and enjoy lights, inflatable snow globes, and more festive décor, up until New Year’s Eve.
Woodsy Winter Wonderland
Check out the Woodsy Winter Wonderland at Cylburn Arboretum for a holiday party with a twist. On December 14th from 12-4pm, you will be able to ax throw, as well as enjoy live music, local brews, vegan and vegetarian food options, and more.
Outdoor Rooftop Skating Rink
The Four Seasons Hotel takes this classic winter activity to a whole new level with rooftop ice-skating! The rink is open Friday-Sunday from 2-7pm until January 5th. With holiday treats, a beautiful rooftop view, and complimentary skate rentals, you must check out this rink.
The Orioles will be hosting their first ever Winter Warm-Up at Camden Yards on December 14th, from 11am-2pm. There will be food trucks, holiday music, complimentary hot cocoa and coffee, and more.
New Year’s Eve Events
New Year’s Eve at the Bygone & Maximón
Get two different New Year’s Eve experiences in one when you can go back and forth from the Bygone to the Maximón all night! From 8pm-4am, the restaurants will have buffets, open bars, live music, and even a view of the Inner Harbor fireworks from the Bygone.
NYE at Bond Street Social x Barcocina
Bond Street Social and Barcocina will be having a joint New Year’s Eve celebration this year! Your ticket grants you entrance to both locations, where you can get hors d’oeuvres, party favors, a view of the fireworks, and live music.
New Year’s Eve at Tagliata/The Elk Room/Italian Disco
This year, Tagliata, The Elk Room, and Italian Disco are teaming up to give the experience of three New Year’s Eve parties in one! Each location will provide their own live music, open bar, buffet, and a complimentary toast at midnight.
New Year’s Eve at Little Havana Restaurante y Cantina
Little Havana Restaurante y Cantina will be having New Year’s Eve festivities all day long! The NYE Family Fiesta will run from 12-4 pm and includes a make your own taco bar and drink specials. Then, the New Year’s Eve Party starts at 9pm and goes until 1:45am. The party will have a buffet, open bar, live music, and more.
NYE 2020 at the Charles will go from 9pm-3am, and will feature DJ performances, a buffet, and more. There will also be a livestream of the ball drop on their 16 foot projector.
Sagamore Pendry New Year’s Eve 2020 Party
Get your masks ready! Sagamore Pendry will be hosting a Venetian Masquerade Ball New Year’s Eve Party from 9pm-2am, with a premium open bar and DJ performances.
Come check out the largest event in the region! With access to nine bars and clubs, DJs, laser shows, and all-inclusive buffet and drinks, NYE Live! is a great place to celebrate New Year’s Eve. The celebration will go from 8pm-3am.
Gatsby on the Harbor NYE 2020
We are back in the Roaring Twenties! Come celebrate at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront’s Gatsby on the Harbor party, with an open bar, gourmet dinner buffet, and views of the Inner Harbor fireworks until 2am.
Papi’s Fells NYE Party
A quesadilla bar and all you can drink beer, wine, margaritas, and sangria make Papi’s Fells NYE Party the ultimate fiesta! Enjoy all of this from 9pm-1am, as well as party favors and a complimentary toast.
