I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for Ice Cream at Zenith!

Zenith_IceCraemDay

Every third Sunday in July is National Ice Cream Day! This year, it falls on Sundae, July 19. National Ice Cream Day was started by President Ronald Reagan in 1984 to celebrate one of America’s favorite treats. Research has shown that about 40% of Americans have eaten an entire pint of ice cream! While everyone loves ice cream, everyone loves different types of ice cream.

Women love Ben and Jerrys, while men prefer Breyers, and different age groups have different favorite flavors, with Cookies and Cream being the favorite for ages 18-24, and ages 25-34 preferring Cookie Dough. Find more ice cream stats here.

No matter what your ice cream preferences are, there are plenty of local places right here in Baltimore serving flavors that everyone will enjoy!

Roll Ice Cream

Rolled ice cream is one of the coolest ice cream trends! Roll Ice Cream in Mount Vernon brings ice cream to a new level with their take on this Asian trend. This month’s flavors include Cookie Jar, Peanut Butter Bliss and Bulk Pickup, a sweet and salty flavor with potato chips!

BMore Licks

BMore Licks in Canton is open every day with unique hard and soft serve flavors, sundaes, snowballs, ice cream tacos, and more. Some of their most unique flavors include Maryland Mud, Cuban Coffee Oreo, and Captain Crunch.

Fell’s Point Creamery

Take a lovely walk through Fell’s Point along the water and grab some ice cream from Fell’s Point Creamery along the way! Some of their most popular flavors include Red Velvet and Blue Cotton Candy.

Polar Roll Creamery

Polar Roll is only three minutes away in Inner Harbor, making it the closest rolled ice cream shop to Zenith. The ice cream shop is known for their creative flavor names that grab your attention such as Oreo and Juliet and Matcha Made in Heaven.

The Charmery

For “happiness through ice cream,” check out The Charmery at their new location in Federal Hill. Get a scoop from their takeout window, which is open every day and is frequently rotating flavors, so there is always something new to try!

Lucky’s

Lucky’s in Inner Harbor is one of the closest ice cream shops to Zenith and is known for their cute, nostalgic aesthetic. Lucky’s serves coffee and candy in addition to ice cream, which comes in delicious flavors such as Honey Graham, Key Lime Pie, and Coffee Oreo.

We hope everyone at The Zenith has a delicious National Ice Cream Day!
