Happy holidays, Zenith residents! The holidays may be a bit different this year, but there are still plenty of safe ways to celebrate. Whether you want to see the stunning lights, or engage in a fun holiday activity, you can still enjoy the season despite COVID restrictions.
Miracle on 34th Street
Experience a real-life Miracle on 34th Street on Hampden’s 34th Street, which has been turned into a Christmas wonderland for this season! The Street is in its 73rd year and while it may look a bit different this year, the same Christmas spirit is still there.
Maryland Zoo Lights
The Maryland Zoo is only 15 minutes away from your home at The Zenith and has a spectacular light show, open Wednesday-Sunday until January 3. The lights can be enjoyed either up close or from the car, with walk-through tickets available on Saturdays and drive-through available the rest of the days!

Virtual Polish Christmas Caroling
While there cannot be in person parades this year, we can still make the most of it with virtual parades! On Wednesday, December 23 from 7-8:30pm, you can follow the virtual route of the Polish Home Club’s 50th annual Christmas Caroling Parade. Although the event cannot be in person, you will still be able to experience the joys of caroling from the comfort of your home.
Merry Main Marketplace
The Merry Main Marketplace in Ellicott City is running on Saturdays and Sundays from 11am-5pm up to December 20. The holiday market has lots of small business vendors including gift shops, food stands, and more! There is also a Wonderland Walk scavenger hunt for some extra fun while at the market!
